Regarding the model number structure, fuses labeled as "170MxxxxD" are dual-indicator fuses. As Beam, a long-term authorized distributor of Bussmann products, we know that Bussmann’s China plant has not yet produced any 170M fuses with the "D" designation (dual indicator). For example, the 170M3816D is produced in India. Moreover, due to cost considerations, many European-manufactured fuses are now being shifted to production in Asia.

For instance, 170M8639 is manufactured in both China and India. For fuses like this, customers can’t specify the production location. For fuses produced in Bussmann’s Chinese factory, lead times are typically 4-6 weeks.
