PKZM0-2.5 Eaton Motor Protective Circuit Breaker

The durable Moeller PKZM0-2.5 is a 3P manual motor protector built for motor overload and short-circuit protection. Its adjustable thermal range of 1.6–2.5A accommodates motor full-load current requirements, while the 35A magnetic trip response addresses short-circuit faults. The device has a 50kA short-circuit interrupting capacity at 600V AC and can be used with fuses or breakers rated up to 600A in industrial applications. It is UL listed and CSA certified, with ratings for motors up to 0.5 HP at 230V and 1 HP at 460V. Approval for group installations under NEC 430-53 and CEC Part 1, Rule 28-206 allows motor circuits to rely on the protector, reducing the need for individual protection devices while lowering cost and space requirements in control panel designs.
