PKZM0-1/SP Eaton Motor Protective Circuit Breaker

The Moeller PKZM0-1/SP is a manual motor protector and motor protective circuit breaker designed for three-phase motor and branch-circuit protection. Its current setting is adjustable from 0.63–1 A, allowing thermal overload protection to be matched to the protected motor. Magnetic trip operation is specified at 14 A for short-circuit protection. The device carries a UL/CSA horsepower rating of 0.5 HP at 230 V and is UL-listed and CSA-certified as a Type E self-protected combination controller. In this configuration, overload, short-circuit, disconnect, and controller functions are combined in one compact unit, eliminating the need for separate protective devices and simplifying system design. The PKZM0-1/SP is approved for group installations under NEC 430.53 and CEC Rule 28-206. It can be paired with contactors for remote operation and may serve as a Type E starter for grounded Wye systems above 240 V.
