The Moeller PKZM0-4/SP is a manual motor protective circuit breaker for three-phase systems, integrating overload and short-circuit protection in one compact unit. Its adjustable thermal trip covers 2.5–4 A, while the magnetic trip is set at 56 A. The 4A, 3P device carries UL/CSA horsepower ratings of 1 HP at 230 V and 2 HP at 460 V. Listed by UL and certified by CSA as a Type E self-protected combination controller, it supplies overload, short-circuit, disconnect, and controller functions without separate fuses or breakers. Installation is approved for group installations under NEC 430.53 and CEC Rule 28-206. The protector may also pair with magnetic contactors for remote operation and functions as a Type E starter in grounded Wye power systems above 240 V.
