The PKZM0-4-T from Moeller is a manual motor protector intended for inductive motor loads experiencing elevated startup current. Its 4A device rating and 3P, three-phase configuration provide overload and short-circuit protection, while the adjustable thermal range of 2.5–4A supports the specified 4A application. The magnetic trip response is rated at 84A, and the short-circuit current rating reaches 50kA at 600V AC. For industrial control panel use, the unit is UL listed and CSA certified for group installation in accordance with NEC 430-53 and CEC Rule 28-206. This certification allows branch-circuit overcurrent protection without a separate protective device, reducing cost, wiring complexity, and space requirements while supporting installation compliance and safety.
