DC fuse in electric vehicle power distribution unit

Power distributor unit designed for EV, known as "electric vehicle high voltage power distribution box", "Electric vehicle power unit" and "Electric vehicle safety box", is an important part in EV.

It supports function converting and power distribution to every systematic unit. Such as motor control unit, battery management system, charging system, DC to DC system, air condition system, electric steering auxiliary system and brake system.

Which fuse is used in PDU?

In 1000VDC System

EVK10-(15, 20, 25, 30)-T, EVK14-(35, 40, 50)-T, EVK22-（60， 70， 80）-T is used in the auxiliary, air conditioning, insulation testing etc circuit.

For main circuit protection,following big current fuses are used.

EVK25-(70, 80, 90, 100);

EVK30-(125, 150, 175, 200);

EVK40-(225, 250, 275, 300)

EVK50-(350, 400)

EVK60-(450, 500, 550, 600)

If you are designing 500VDC system

For Auciliary circuit protection, these 500VDC fuses are suitable:

EV10-(amp) ferrule

EV10-(amp)-B axial bolt-on

EV10-(amp)-T flush bolt-on

EV10-(amp)-1P PCB terminal

For main circuit, you should select below DC fuses:

500VDC: FWH-100, 125, 150, 175, 200, 225, 250, 275, 300, 325, 400....800C(B);

700VDC:  FWP-35, 100, 150, 200....600C(A);

800VDC: FWJ-150, 400A;
